Scottie Scheffler lauds 'funniest guy' on PGA Tour: "He does stuff like that all the time"

World No.1 Scottie Scheffler claimed Si Woo Kim is the 'funniest guy' on the PGA Tour after he raced to the front on day one of the CJ Cup Byron Nelson.
Scheffler hit a 10-under par 61 on Thursday at TPC Craig Ranch to take a two-shot lead in Texas.
It represented Scheffler's best round of the season as he attempts to win for the first time in 2025.

Scheffler carded an eagle at the par-5 9th and put four circles on his card to go out in 29 and rolled home three more birdie putts on the back nine.
His playing partner, Si Woo Kim, shot a 4-under 67 which included a chip-in eagle at the 18th.
Kim's reaction made Scheffler laugh. "He does stuff like that all the time," he said.
"People don't realise he is probably one of the funniest guys we have on Tour.
"[He] just has really good comedic timing and he is the best. Si Woo is undefeated. That was not surprising. [His] reaction always gets a good laugh out of us."
Scheffler missed this PGA Tour stop 12 months ago for the birth of his son Bennett.
And a hand injury prevented Scheffler from competing on the PGA Tour until late January.
Scheffler did not have his best stuff earlier in the month at Augusta National but still produced a top-five finish at The Masters.
He told reporters he was not anxious or eager to get his first win of the year.
"I got off to a good start today, and there is three more days of the tournament," he said.
"I'm just focused on going home, getting some rest, and getting ready for tomorrow."
